We had Hardie Board siding put on around the entire house as well we had new 6" gutters with gutter guards installed as well. If you're thinking vinyl, just know that squirrels chew on it A LOT.I can't say enough good about Scott, Nicholas, Vinnie and the crew that did the job.Scott came out, we discussed the look, what we wanted etc then he got me a bid with detailed explanation of extras etc.Came time to get the job going the crew went right to it, checking under the old vinyl siding as they tore it off to make sure there was no rot etc. They cleaned up daily, they were polite and notified me when they found rot and took care of that as soon as materials came on site.I spent a large part of my working years as a carpenter between hardwood, Corian tops, building houses and making my own furniture so when I tell you that this crew was beyond exceptional, I'm undervaluing their work. Their lines are "on point" all the way around my house and it's definitely a cut up layout. The crew works together like they've been 30 years together. The cuts (with a skilsaw) were about as precision as you can get.Look, this stuff is not cheap but for most of us it would be the only siding we'd know plus you can paint it when you tire of the color. In that light you want every bit of what you are paying for so trust me when I tell you that you will get it with Fairway Exteriors. The finished product including touch ups etc is amazing. Project managers out every day at least twice supplies are brought out by the PM so guys can keep moving. Scott and his team (Nicholaus his project manager and the entire crew) were incredible to work with!! They were transparent throughout the process as well as easy to understand scope and pricing upfront and never changed from what we had discussed in the beginning. They showed up on time and did incredibly high quality work on all of our new windows and doors - including a custom new sliding door for our kitchen. I really appreciated their attention to detail, responsiveness, and communication during the project. They also installed Hardie siding on our house and we are thrilled with how it turned out and the quality of the installation. Our house looked dingy and worn from the previous siding and wood rot on the windows, but now looks brand new! The house feels quieter and looks beautiful.I would recommend Scott and his whole team to anyone looking to do siding and/or windows!

We hired Fairway Exteriors to replace windows, exteriors doors and siding for the entire home. The total job was more than $70,000 and it was absolutely money well spent. The house is much brighter and more comfortable thanks to the doors and windows, and neighbors have been very complimentary of the new look. Here's why we recommend Fairway:1. Scott Neidow, the owner, stands by the work of his crews. He gave us addresses and contact info of previous clients so we could see colors and styles firsthand. I emailed all of those clients and received nothing but positive responses. Scott made it clear why he believes in his products and how experienced his crews are compared to other companies. He was also clear about the limitations of his crews, such as painting, and we found the honesty refreshing.2. It felt to us like Fairway wanted to take care of our home. Scott was very patient and accommodated our process. We ended up with a lot of special requests, which weren't an issue for him at all. Scott and his supervisor, Nick, walked through the entire house multiple times to ensure all of the details were documented correctly. They sent updates in our group text and were quick to respond to issues. Their professionalism extended to the crew at our house, who were on site for about a month. They were on polite and clean, and arrived on time every morning and worked into the evening.

Fairway Exteriors installed 8 replacement windows in my home and I could not be happier with the job they did. They were professional, efficient, and extremely easy to work with. Fairway Exteriors is an excellent siding replacement contractor. The owner, Scott, is very knowledgeable and helped a lot with design decisions. Design assistance is rarely offered with other contractors. Nick was our project manager. He was fantastic in helping us get everything we wanted and assuring the workmanship met our expectations. We had Scott or Nick (many times both) on site several times a day. We are delighted with the results. Our house has never looked so good.

Scott, Nicholas and the Fairway Exteriors team did a great job installing James Hardie siding - replacing existing vinyl siding that overlaid stucco. The team performed quickly and Scott/Nicholas provided consistent progress throughout the project. As with all older houses the real work is repairing and accounting for the parts of the house that may not be true or suffering from other issues. The Fairway team addressed all issues and the final installation looked like we've had it all along. Would recommend.

From Scott's initial visit to our home, we knew that Fairway Exteriors would get our business. Scott was very thorough in his estimating process which was huge for us since we are historically "do it yourself-ers" and hiring out was a big deal! Superior performance in every respect from start to finish. Our 40+ yrs old bat and board wood siding had once again needed wood rot repair as well as a new paint job. We got the usual paint bids but also contacted Fairway (based on reviews) to consider replacing it with James Hardie siding. And we are glad we did. Fairway did a great job (including a new window) and in the end we ended up with more value for our dollars spent. We’ve never had a contractor more conscientious than Scott. His bid was entirely reasonable. His crew was careful and skilled. The project started and finished on time. Highly recommend.

We knew we were using James Hardie from the get go, but it took us almost two years to decide on a siding company. We worked with Fairway Exteriors and had a good experience. We did both siding and windows as well and have been pleased with the work for both. We chose Fairway based on reviews from others and their pricing was competitive. The onsite installers were professional and there was always a foreman on site we could communicate directly with. He also gave us daily updates on progress, questions or issues. We had issues with a leaky exterior faucet and a gas line that they discovered and we had a third party come out to fix. Those were our only additional costs.

Scott is very knowledgeable about siding and was happy to answer any questions we had on the initial consultation. The quote came in quickly and when we decided go move forward they were able to squeeze us in a lot faster than we assumed. When it came time to start Scott and Isaac were both very helpful and kept us informed of any hiccups and everything going on via group text and any questions we had they had answers. Of course a project of this magnitude isn't cheap, but they are very competitive on pricing and have a top of the line product. We are very pleased with overall experience and would highly recommend. The workmanship and overall appearance FAR exceeded my expectations. They removed all of our old siding and replaced with new in just 4days and you couldn't tell anyone gad ever been here. I'm particular with working with Contractors and frequently have to point out imperfections and things not getting done per agreed upon. When the Project was completed we found a number of high quality features that were done that I wasn't even aware of going to be done.NOT A SINGLE THING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT! The whole process could not have been easier and more seamless. The work was done quick and with a great eye for detail. Scott and the Fairway Exterior team saved my house! I recently had a local contractor do an incredibly poor job of installing James Hardie siding on my house. Ultimately it would have led to many leaks and possibly rotting. Scott and his team at Fairway Exteriors removed all of the shoddy work and started fresh installing everything according to all of the manufacturers specifications. Now I have a beautiful home again with a warranty on the work completed that the manufacturer will stand by. Hard lesson learned on selecting a great contractor. The Fairway Exteriors team did an excellent job on our home. We called to request a free estimate for a full siding project, as well as the potential for some additional work, primarily a partial remodel of the back door. The estimate process was easy, the quote was clear, and the communication was great. There was some lead time before the project began, simply due to the materials needing to be ordered, but that's going to happen with any of these large projects. Once the work began, Scott and his foreman Isaac were very communicative from the outset, and very helpful in addressing any of our questions and/or concerns. The house looks great, and we're thrilled with the quality of the siding and the door they installed. Fairway Exteriors completed a large project on our house including doors, windows, front stair railing & James Hardie siding. From the initial quote to the job being completed, Scott, Isaac and the crew were beyond amazing!!! Scott provided a very thorough quote that included everything required to complete our project. He was very patient and presented multiple drafts of the quote due to color changes and other variables. Once finalized, Scott took the time to be sure we understood all the different phases of work to be completed. The communication from the initial email all the way through job completion was much better than we expected!!! Every question was answered and the workmanship was flawless. Fairway removed our house's 1970 wood siding and divided-light windows, and replaced them with James Hardie siding and ComfortLine FiberFrame windows. They replaced all the exterior lights and gutters, painted the bricks and the garage doors.(This shows our lovely new siding. Ignore windows , which hadn’t been replaced at this point.)Everyone from Fairway was easy to work with, remarkably responsive, and tidy. Indoors, they used drop cloths and vacuumed.We're happy with the advice Scott Neidow gave us on Hardie siding. The new windows are amazing! They look great and operate so smoothly. We immediately noticed the difference they made in keeping the house cool and reducing noise.The house looks fresh and ready for another 50 years. I got my siding installed a year ago, and purposely waited to write a review so that I could comment on how it did throughout the seasons, etc. First of all, it looks just as great today as it did the day they finished it. I love the color I picked out, and I love the trim. I LOVE that my house wasn’t a freaking sauna this summer, and I love how easy the whole process was. Scott and Isaac were so kind and helpful, and even replaced window well covers and window screens that got damaged during demo, AND helped me hang pictures back on the walls inside the house, after everything was done. I’d gotten estimates from other companies in the past, but Scott was the only one who made me feel like he actually gave a damn, and I appreciate his honesty and complete lack of desire to rip off his clients. The crew that worked at my house was FANTASTIC, and one of my favorite parts was hearing one of the men singing while he worked, lol. I was so pleased with everything, that I let them keep a sign in my yard for a whole month, because that’s how I found out about Fairway Exteriors. 10/10 would do it again. Pics are only of back and side of house only. Also, the amount of random bugs and spiders I see in my house has gone down by like 90% since getting the shingles removed and the beautiful siding put on.TL;DR these guys are AWESOME, and I HIGHLY recommend them.

I was extremely impressed with Fairway Exteriors from the beginning to the end! Scott was prompt in contacting me to talk about what I was needing done and we were able to set-up an in-person consultation for the next day. The first thing he had me do (unlike any other companies), was to take a walk around the house with him so we could talk about the problem areas - he was able to tell me what would need to be done to cut out and fix my wood-rot, even out walls, taking off existing window trim, etc, in addition receiving a fairly accurate estimate right on the spot. He was quick to get me the actual estimate for the job within a couple days, along with renderings of my house in multiple colors (as I just couldn’t decide what I wanted), along with a list of other houses in the area that his company renovated, so I could see actual work that was done by Fairway Exteriors. After having a few other companies come out for quotes, Scott was always there patiently answering my questions in regards to the work his company would do vs the competitors, yet never pressuring me to make a decision. Ultimately, we decided to go with Fairway Exteriors for several of the reasons above and I am so glad we did! Once the work started, Scott and the Project Manager Isaac were awesome to work with; they stayed in touch with me while I was at work by keeping me up-to-date with texts, pictures and phone calls. I was impressed with how quickly they worked (even in the ridiculously hot July heat), the quality of work, the friendly hard-working laborers, just how much work was accomplished in a day and the short amount of time it actually took to get my whole house completed. He listened to what we wanted and worked with us to get just that. I was very impressed by the frequent updates and involvement during our project because we have not gotten that on other large house projects we’ve had. If you express and concerns Scott and Fairway will work with you to make sure they are addressed. Finally, we were very impressed with the quality of the work and the attention to detail on things that could easily have gone unnoticed. Yes, it’s expensive, so I didn’t evaluate that in this review. I am extremely pleased with the work by Fairway Exteriors. We had a fairly expensive project where we added James Hardie siding, replaced all windows in the house, and replaced our non-standard gutters (there were other minor pieces to the project as well). The back of the house is three stories, and the front is two, so it was a fairly sizable project. I felt like the project managers were extremely responsive, and transparent. There were a couple of issues (there always will be with big projects), and they were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. In a surprise move, the project even came slightly under budget. This is unusual for almost any project, so I would not use this review to indicate that this will be everyone's experience, but I wanted to share it as I felt it indicated the company's honesty and fairness.The contracted employees behaved professionally, and were quick with their work, always ready with a smile.I would not hesitate to contract again with Fairway Exteriors.

Fairway Exteriors recently replaced our exterior siding and coordinated the replacement of our gutters and downspouts. They also performed some miscellaneous exterior painting. Prior to selecting Fairway Exteriors, my wife and I had numerous conversations with them about their scope of work and compared them to various other contractors that we were considering. Scott and his team were always very willing to answer all of our questions. (We pride ourselves on being very well informed on the work to be performed and on vetting out all the details.) I will admit that they may not have been the cheapest of all the bids that we were considering, but I can promise that the slightly higher cost was more than offset by the professionalism and respectfulness of all the workers, the prompt responses by the foreman and the owner and above all - the extremely high quality of the work. (Remember, you never want to go with the cheapest bid because you will always get the cheapest end product.) Scott's team was, by far, the best group of individuals that we have ever hired to do work on our home. And as previously mentioned, the work quality was second to none! Extremely meticulous!! I could give example after example to support everything that I have stated, but I will simply say - they are the best in every aspect!!! Oh, I almost forgot, what other company has the owner present on our job, every day, multiple times throughout the day? We met with Scott late last year to start planning the siding project and at every steps he was super responsive and provided excellent service. He kept us in the loop about escalating product costs that enabled us to get the products purchased prior to a price hike, which of course was really appreciated. There was no point of the process where we wondered what was happening because Scott kept us updated the entire way.As for the work itself, we could not be happier. His crew arrived when he said they would and left our house very clean with virtually no nails or debris around the house. What could we possibly say about Scott and the team at Fairway Exteriors? We received a transparent, itemized bid, met with Scott to talk through our new siding and windows and answer all of our questions, received updates throughout the project, and Scott wasn't happy until we were happy. The work is crisp and attention to detail is everywhere.As important as the work was how I was treated. As a younger woman who was Scott's direct contact throughout, I never once felt condescended to or treated poorly, which has not been my experience with other contractors on past projects or in the bidding process for this one. I easily contacted 20 other companies to come and give me a bid. Half never got back to me, and those who did come meet with me left a message of a number and never directly spoke with me about what it entailed. Scott was a professional throughout and made me feel comfortable doing this level of work with him. With a house with brand new Hardie siding and new 40-year windows, I'll likely not get to work with Scott again any time soon, but, should that change, he'll be my first and only call.

Fairway Exteriors installed James Hardie siding and trim on my house. They did a super expert job and it looks great. They also brought me new gutters by Midwest Guttering and exterior brick, foundation and garage door painting by Reliance Painting and More. Scott's siding crew was very skilled and hard working. Brian's guttering guys did fine, and Jose's painting crew from Reliance were excellent. Jose took care of some extras including outdoor lighting, and his crew made some interior nail pops from siding installation disappear. There were a couple of hiccups, as you might expect from a major project, but Scott made everything right. I recommend Fairway and its subs highly.

Got my house fully resided and upgraded form Cedar shingles to hardie board. Absolutely love the transformation! Small companies can make a huge difference and it’s in the details. Scott is the owner and contractor and is your one point person through the whole process from estimation to close. He gives you a line by line estimate of everything, and does drone picture estimates so can cgi a mock up of colors you like to help you decide. He is very responsive with any issues or questions and sends you pictures and videos to update you through the whole process. You know exactly who you are talking to when you call and it’s Scott. Some companies you talk to 5 people to actually get to someone who can help you with your issue or question. He is also very honest and never felt he was taking advantage of me. Residing is a huge investment no question and with older homes issues can come up that are unexpected. He keeps you informed when it does come up and doesn’t try to take advantage of your misfortune (for example I needed new under sheathing and it was done at cost of material). The only siding product he offers is hardie board but if you know that’s what you want you won’t be disappointed! I am so glad I chose fairway exteriors and you will be too!
