Superior performance in every respect from start to finish. Our 40+ yrs old bat and board wood siding had once again needed wood rot repair as well as a new paint job. That is why painting in 15-20 years down the road is a blessing. If you reside with a product like vinyl you still have to deal with mildew and grime by power washing every year. Power washing 15-20 times seems like more work than repainting once. Additionally, 10-12 years from now your vinyl will look awful. You will hate it and so will the buyers looking at your house eventually. One of the beauties of Hardie is that you can paint it and make it look brand new!
